Welcome to Brazos River Youth Theatre!

Brazos River Youth Theatre empowers young creatives by giving them tools to bravely and compassionately navigate the world, reaching their highest artistic and personal potential. In other words, we support students as they explore the arts by giving them access to performance training and opportunities in a safe, fun, professional environment. 

We believe in the transformative power of theatre and its ability to build a kinder, more creative world where high-quality arts education and supportive communities are accessible to all students. I was lucky enough to participate in youth and community theatre around the U.S. and the world! At Texas A&M, I worked in the scenic design shop and directed all kinds of shows. While finishing my MFA, I worked with professionals in Chicago and Berlin to learn more about teaching methods and storytelling. And now… I’m so excited to bring all of that to Bryan-College Station. 

No matter the cast, city, or country, theatre always brings people together, inspires change, instills confidence, requires teamwork, and changes lives. Every project is a new adventure, and I can’t wait to see what the next year looks like for BRYT. I hope you’ll join us! Our debut season is going to be amazing, and I can already hear the overture starting…
