BRYT

Brazos River Youth Theatre provides acting, musical theatre, camps, and performance opportunities for students in College Station, Bryan, and throughout the Brazos Valley. We're dedicated to offering high-quality educational programs, creating meaningful performance opportunities, collaborating with our community, and encouraging every student's growth and creativity.

As the art form that brings together every discipline, including visual art, music, film, architecture, dance, and writing, theatre is the perfect laboratory for young people to explore their creativity, build confidence, and develop the teamwork, public speaking, and communication skills they'll carry with them for life.

BRYT Staff

Our staff is made up of local performing arts professionals and educators, supplemented by college students working towards careers on stage, back stage, and in the classroom.

All board members, staff and volunteers that work with youth for our programs have been background checked, received general child safety training, and BRYT-specific training on supporting young creatives.

Nonprofit Status

Brazos River Youth Theatre is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, guided by a dedicated board of directors committed to advancing our mission.

Contributions to BRYT are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. Thank you for your support!

Students

BRYT offers programs for students in Kindergarten through 12th grade.
Classes, camps, and workshops will be labeled for the appropriate age.

Cost

Participation fees are currently based on prior fundraising, project budgets, overhead, and instructor pay. As BRYT grows, our goal is to bring costs down to zero for all students.

Scholarship

BRYT is proud to offer need-based scholarships for all our programs. For classes and camps, applications are posted with registration. For shows, they're sent with the cast list email.

Affiliation

BRYT may use donated spaces around Bryan-College Station; we're not affiliated with any political or religious organization. Our focus is theatre education, and we welcome families from all backgrounds.
