Empowering Young Creatives

Mission

Our mission is to empower young creatives by giving them the tools to bravely and compassionately navigate the world, reaching their highest artistic and personal potential, and building a kinder, more creative world where high-quality arts education and supportive communities are accessible to all students. Since 2024, we've supported 400+ actors, welcomed 3,700+ audience members, and awarded $17,500+ in scholarships.

Olivia is a director, choreographer, designer, performer, and educator whose path to the stage began in community theatre and dance training, shaped by a childhood spent moving around the world as an Air Force kid. She holds a degree in Performance Studies from Texas A&M University and an MFA in Acting and Contemporary Performance Making from Columbia College Chicago in partnership with arthaus.berlin. Her work is driven by a commitment to creating opportunities for everyone to experience the transformative power of theatre.

None of this is possible alone. Brazos River Youth Theatre relies on the dedication of its staff, volunteers, and donors, whose generosity and commitment sustain BRYT's mission every day.
