Spring Break Camp 2025

Twenty five hours.

That’s approximately how long the cast of Winnie the Pooh Kids had to rehearse their music, blocking and choreography before the curtain opened. Over the course of five days, the cast (aged five to thirteen) auditioned for, memorized the lines of, and embodied some of the most iconic characters in children’s literature.
For two-thirds of our cast, Winnie the Pooh Kids was their theatrical debut. I am in awe of the entire cast’s bravery and hard work–but especially proud of those who had never been on stage before, let alone performed in front of an audience.
The entire spring break camp and the wonderful two performances that it culminated in would not have been possible with the support of our amazing staff, dedicated board, and generous parents who donated their time, costume pieces, and supplies.
Watching in real-time as young actors discover that they are capable of doing amazing things, that our voices are louder when we raise them together, and the way that their performance impacts the audience is truly a humbling experience that I’m inspired by and honored to be a part of–and it happens in every production.
Thank you for joining us in our mission to empower young creatives… and we hope to see you at summer camp in July! It’s going to be totally ‘paw-some.’
Until next time,
Olivia
